Dr. Marvin Bledsoe

Dr. Marvin Bledsoe has been a partner doctor at Valley Oak Dental Group since joining our practice in April, 1999. He is a pediatric specialist with more than 30 years experience in treating children and is the President of our Board of Directors.

Dr. Bledsoe received his B.A in Biology in 1968 from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1973, he was awarded his dental degree from Meharry Medical College, also in Nashville. Dr. Bledsoe then went on to receive his certificate of Advanced Post Graduate Studies in Pediatrics in 1975 from Boston University, Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry. In 1978, he was awarded his Fellowship at Mount Zion Hospital, San Francisco post graduate general residency program.

Having spent many years training for the rewards and challenges of treating children, Dr. Bledsoe has devoted his entire career to pediatrics. He is a dedicated husband and father, residing in Manteca with his wife and blended family of six children. Dr. June Bledsoe (Dr. Marvin Bledsoe’s wife) is also a pediatric dentist and from the Nashville area.
